My name is Geraldine Harris and I am a writer, editor, Egyptologist and, above all, a keen reader of Fantasy fiction. I live in Gloucestershire, England with a mathematician, five cats and thousands of books. I am the author of the `Seven Citadels’ series and you can find out about my other fiction and non-fiction publications at http://www.chalcedon.demon.co.uk. I only review books that I like and which I have bought myself. If I have any links with the author or publisher of a book I recommend, I shall say so in the blog. The main purpose of my weekly blog is to explore the diversity of Fantasy fiction and share the pleasure of a good read. Comments and recommendations are welcome.

Hello. Just wanted to say that I loved your book “Gods and Pharaohs from Egyptian Mythology” as a kid. It’s one of my all-time favorites. I was genuinely happy when I found it intact while checking old book boxes đŸ™‚
Hi! In the same vein as the previous comment—I wanted to let you know how much I loved and admired your Seven Citadels series as a kid. I was moved by the imagination behind it and by Kerish’s growing charisma, and it felt, at least, like a rich allegory as well as a beautiful story, though I wasn’t able to work out how it all fit together. I hope to reread it and blog about it at some point. Thank you!
